Position: Branch Operations Supervisor

The Opportunity Our client, a global specialist in the mechanical engineering and material handling sector, is looking for a Branch Operations Supervisor to lead their UK hub in Warrington. This is a "linchpin" role designed for a hands-on professional who thrives in a small-team environment while being part of a robust international corporate structure. You will own the end-to-end operational flow—from the moment a customer makes an enquiry to the final delivery and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Operations & Rental: Personal oversight of inside sales, spare parts, and the growing rental business, ensuring high service levels and proactive support for the field sales team.
- Logistics & Warehouse Management: Oversee inbound/outbound activities, inventory accuracy, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the European HQ to implement lean processes and track KPIs like delivery lead times and order accuracy.
- Hands-on Support: Be prepared to "roll up your sleeves," including occasional support in the warehouse or operating a forklift if required to keep operations fluid.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5+ years in operations, inside sales, or logistics coordination, ideally within the material handling, industrial equipment, or hydraulics sectors.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAGE or SAP preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Mindset: A flexible, "can-do" attitude suitable for a small office (approx. 12 people total in the UK branch).
- Proximity: Based within a 10–20 mile radius of Warrington.
