Offer details

On behalf of a fast-growing European software vendor specializing in B2B vulnerability management and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a Business Developer - Italy. Backed by a major industrial group, the company combines technological innovation with the long-term stability and security of a corporate parent.

Operating with strong financial performance, the firm provides sovereign, highly secure solutions capable of running on-premise or in disconnected mode for critical infrastructures and state-level platforms. As part of its international expansion strategy, the company is building its Italian market presence from the ground up, based out of Milan.

Main responsibilities

  • Establish and expand the company's presence in the Italian market from scratch, aiming for ambitious ARR targets.
  • Elaborate and execute the local go-to-market strategy, including market analysis, regulatory understanding, and identifying local industry events.
  • Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from active outbound prospecting to deal closure.
  • Build and nurture a strong local network of integrator partners.
  • Report directly to executive management while collaborating with France-based pre-sales and support teams.

What we are looking for
Must-Have Criteria:

  • 5 to 10 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally within IT, cybersecurity, or digital service companies (ESN).
  • Proven track record and drive to autonomously develop a new market from scratch.
  • Strong willingness and hands-on capability to conduct active prospecting.
  • High social intelligence, strong communication skills, and professional rigor.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).

Nice-to-Have Criteria:

  • Prior knowledge of the cybersecurity domain.
  • Proficiency in French.
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM.
  • A versatile "Swiss-army knife" mindset, comfortable in a growing and evolving environment.

What we offer

  • An Italian permanent employment contract.
  • A clear, fast-track career evolution path toward a Country Manager role.
  • Flexible working conditions: initial remote flexibility transitioning to 2–3 days per week hybrid work once a Milan office opens.
  • A structured onboarding program at corporate HQ and continuous technical support.

Salary range

  • Base Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 gross annual.
  • Variable Pay Structure: variable compensation featuring a progressive commission rate.

Location: Milan.
