On behalf of a fast-growing European software vendor specializing in B2B vulnerability management and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a Business Developer - Italy. Backed by a major industrial group, the company combines technological innovation with the long-term stability and security of a corporate parent.
Operating with strong financial performance, the firm provides sovereign, highly secure solutions capable of running on-premise or in disconnected mode for critical infrastructures and state-level platforms. As part of its international expansion strategy, the company is building its Italian market presence from the ground up, based out of Milan.
Main responsibilities
- Establish and expand the company's presence in the Italian market from scratch, aiming for ambitious ARR targets.
- Elaborate and execute the local go-to-market strategy, including market analysis, regulatory understanding, and identifying local industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from active outbound prospecting to deal closure.
- Build and nurture a strong local network of integrator partners.
- Report directly to executive management while collaborating with France-based pre-sales and support teams.
What we are looking for
Must-Have Criteria:
- 5 to 10 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally within IT, cybersecurity, or digital service companies (ESN).
- Proven track record and drive to autonomously develop a new market from scratch.
- Strong willingness and hands-on capability to conduct active prospecting.
- High social intelligence, strong communication skills, and professional rigor.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
Nice-to-Have Criteria:
- Prior knowledge of the cybersecurity domain.
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience using HubSpot CRM.
- A versatile "Swiss-army knife" mindset, comfortable in a growing and evolving environment.

Salary range
- Base Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 gross annual.
- Variable Pay Structure: variable compensation featuring a progressive commission rate.
