The Role & Key Responsibilities
To support this regional growth, we are seeking a Junior Business Developer to join the local team. This is a strategic, relationship-driven role focused on corporate sourcing and long-term partnership building through a consultative, professional approach.
- Market Sourcing: Map the regional market to identify potential corporate targets and strategic partners.
- Executive Outreach: Initiate direct contact (via cold outreach and networking) with company founders, CEOs, and key stakeholders.
- Relationship Nurturing: Build and maintain high-level, long-term relationships with senior entrepreneurs.
- Pre-screening: Conduct basic qualitative and macro-financial evaluations of target opportunities (understanding basic P&L and business models).
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of the regional pipeline for leadership.
Must-Have Criteria
- Education: Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (a basic understanding of corporate financial metrics is required).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years in B2B commercial roles, corporate account management, or business consulting.
- Linguistic Skills: Fluency in Slovenian and English. Professional proficiency in Serbian / Croatian / Bosnian is mandatory to cover regional target accounts.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, maturity to engage with senior stakeholders, precision, and strong self-organization.
Nice-to-Have Criteria
- Knowledge of Bulgarian.
