Our client is an international company operating in the beauty and retail sector, currently undergoing a significant digital and technological transformation.
The organization is evolving its business model and IT landscape to improve performance, scalability, and system integration.
We are looking for a Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDTO) who will lead both the technological transformation and the digital evolution of the local business.
The role will be part of the Executive Committee and serve as a key link among business needs, digital development, and technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & IT Leadership
- Oversee the full IT perimeter (Retail, Direct Selling, E-commerce)
- Manage and develop the local IT team
- Ensure the quality and reliability of systems and platforms
- Define and drive the IT roadmap and project portfolio
- Manage the IT budget in coordination with central functions
- Align local initiatives with global IT and brand strategies
- Ensure cybersecurity, infrastructure stability, and vendor management
Technology Transformation Program
- Lead the replacement of legacy platforms (2025–2027)
- Define target architecture and support vendor selection processes
- Oversee design, implementation, and delivery phases
- Monitor timelines, costs, and risks
- Ensure business continuity throughout the transition
Digital Strategy & Business Evolution
- Define the functional roadmap for digital platforms (Direct Selling & E-commerce)
- Coordinate priorities across departments and ensure alignment
- Manage backlog governance and agile processes
- Promote digital adoption across the organization
- Optimize processes across IT, Marketing, CRM, and commercial teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles (CTO, CDO, or similar)
- At least 6-8 years of experience in complex environments, preferably in retail, e-commerce, beauty, or direct selling
- Experience managing large-scale transformation programs
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of digital ecosystems and platforms
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities
- Fluent in English; Italian strongly preferred; French is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
