Role
To support company growth, we are looking for a Data Project & Integration Engineer who, reporting to the Application & Infrastructure Manager, based in Germany, will act as a strategic point of contact between the data/IT area and the business, supporting the optimization and integration of data processes across global production plants.
The person will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating data integration projects and architectures (Azure, Snowflake, Data Lake), ensuring alignment with manufacturing needs and business development.
In particular, they will be responsible for:
- Coordination of data integration projects, scalable cloud data solutions (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric), and migration initiatives, including the integration of AI-based solutions.
- Data analysis, advanced reporting support, and the design of reliable, reusable data products.
- Optimization and automation of industrial data flows and integration pipelines connecting ERP, MES, and IoT systems.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate data standards and supporting international division colleagues and global data initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking to connect with professionals holding a technical degree,preferably in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering, who have gained at least 3 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing companies or consultancy firms.
You are our ideal candidate if you possess:
- Strong expertise in data engineering, integration pipelines, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with scalable cloud data solutions (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake).
- Familiarity with project management principles and a strong consultancy mindset.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience integrating ERP, MES, SAP, or Industrial IoT data as a strong plus.
