The Role: DevOps Manager
We are looking for a hands-on technical Manager to spearhead their cloud infrastructure evolution. In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategic leadership and technical execution, focusing on building secure, automated, and scalable environments that support our cutting-edge AI and data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team & Culture Leadership: Mentor and grow a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment and supporting long-term career development.
- Security & Compliance: Architect and monitor advanced security protocols for sensitive AI workloads, proactively managing risks and leading the certification processes for ISO 27001 and TISAX.
- Cloud Operations & Automation: Design and optimize fully automated, cost-effective systems on Microsoft Azure, ensuring maximum reliability and performance through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Technical Contribution: Stay "hands-on" by participating in code reviews, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and working side-by-side with your engineers.
- AI & Data Pipeline Support: Partner with data engineering teams to build the robust, scalable infrastructure required to handle large-scale, complex AI workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by implementing modern monitoring strategies to identify vulnerabilities and ensuring a rapid, effective response to any technical incidents.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Leadership: Proven track record in DevOps leadership roles, with a deep understanding of DevOps culture and Agile methodologies.
- Cloud Expertise: Solid, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem or other cloud providers.
- Technical Depth: Mastery of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Security Focus: Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, TISAX).
- Communication: Exceptional English skills (written and spoken), with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Assets:
- Relevant Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-305, AZ-104, or AZ-204).
- Experience managing global cloud subscriptions, specifically handling Chinese regional subscriptions and their unique regulatory requirements.
