Our client is a global leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Digital Transformation, boasting a legacy of innovation that spans decades. Since entering the Japanese market in 2003, they have built a formidable presence, supporting over 100 enterprise customers and generating a multi-million dollar annual subscription revenue stream.
We are now expanding our Tokyo International Hub with a high-impact Digital Sales team. This isn't a "startup" gamble; it’s an opportunity to take the reins of a proven, high-revenue territory and scale it to the next level.
The Mission: Be the CEO of Your Business
We aren't looking for a typical sales rep. We need a Strategic Territory Owner who thrives on accountability. You will manage a sophisticated blend of direct sales and partner-led growth, acting as the primary engine for Hyland’s digital footprint in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Own the full sales lifecycle for the Japanese territory, driving accountability and attainment toward ambitious but achievable KPIs.
- The "Shinrai" Factor: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with a network of high-profile local partners and System Integrators (SIs) that have been with us for nearly 20 years.
- Partner Enablement: Act as a force multiplier by coaching regional partners, ensuring they are expertly equipped to position our SaaS platform.
- Business Orchestration: Leverage a robust internal ecosystem—including dedicated Pre-sales, Client Success, and Marketing—to close complex deals and ensure post-sale excellence.
- Data-Driven Forecasts: Utilize your analytical mindset to provide accurate pipeline visibility and "original thinking" for market expansion.
Profile Sought
- The SaaS Expert: Proven track record in Territory Sales Management, specifically within SaaS, Cloud, or Content Services in the Japanese market.
- Bilingual Mastery: Native-level Japanese (to navigate local business nuances) and professional English (for seamless collaboration with global leadership).
- Technical Literacy: Comfort with Microsoft ecosystems and enterprise-grade software architectures.
- Entrepreneurial Grit: The ability to work independently with minimal oversight, taking total ownership of your "business within a business."
