About our client: we are partnering with an innovative, highly specialized System Integrator focused on robotic technologies and intralogistics software solutions. They specialize in simplifying complex workflows and transforming logistical inefficiencies for demanding industrial sectors such as plastics, food & beverage, and automotive. We are currently looking for a driven professional to enhance their Service team and maximize system performance in the Benelux region.
The role: we are seeking an experienced and proactive Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to guarantee the maximum availability and performance of installed automated systems. Operating as the primary technical point of contact, you will manage the entire service lifecycle—from installation to long-term maintenance—ensuring high customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships across the Benelux region. This role offers a clear, structured path to evolving into a Service Manager position.
Key responsibilities:
- Lifecycle Management: Take charge of the entire service lifecycle by acting as the primary technical contact, managing maintenance contracts, and coordinating spare parts.
- Technical Execution: Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, as well as handle the installation and commissioning of new automated systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and software issues on robotic systems, AGVs/AMRs, and conveyor belts.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, guaranteeing compliance with technical specifications and exceeding client expectations.
- Strategic Growth: Actively contribute to defining preventive maintenance strategies, with a view to gradually taking on a coordination and management role for the entire region.
Requirements:
- Technical degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service, maintenance, or commissioning of automated machinery, intralogistics systems, or industrial automation equipment.
- Solid hands-on experience with automated systems involving robotics, conveyor belts, AGVs, and/or AMRs.
- Good knowledge of PLC architecture and industrial programming platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Omron), with the ability to troubleshoot and make software modifications.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and Dutch.
- Holding a valid B-category driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux region.

- Salary package between €55,000 and €57,000.
