Key Account Manager – Medical & Packaging (APAC/China)

Location: China (with proximity to East China / Suzhou area preferred)
Reporting to: Sales Director APAC

Your Mission
As the Key Account Manager for Medical & Packaging, your main goal is to actively win back market share, unlock massive project pipelines, and build unshakeable trust with major local medical device and packaging manufacturers in China.
This is not an office-bound administrative role. You are a proactive, hands-on, relationship-driven "hunter" who prefers face-to-face meetings, visiting injection molding shops, and winning over clients through deep trust and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales & Growth: Target and acquire local high-volume medical device manufacturers and packaging companies across China.
  • Build Strategic Trust: Actively contact key decision-makers, book meetings, and establish deep, long-term partnerships through face-to-face consultative selling.
  • Liaise with Regional Sales: Collaborate closely with the 3 Regional Sales Managers in China, as well as our local Area Sales Managers (ASMs) across China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
  • Strategic Reporting: Report directly to the Sales Director APAC, aligning on regional strategy, market trends, and competitor movements.
  • Value-Based Selling: Position our premium valve gate hot runner systems as the ultimate solution for reducing cycle times, lowering scrap rates, and improving medical-grade plastic processing.


What We Are Looking For

  • Industry Expertise: A strong background in plastic injection molding, hot runner technology, or high-precision tooling, specifically within the Medical Device or High-End Packaging sectors.
  • The "Hunter" Mindset: A self-starter who doesn't wait for inquiries but actively approaches clients, asks "Can I come by and show you what we can do?", and establishes robust customer relationships.
  • Strong Network: Existing relationships with local Chinese medical device producers and high-precision mold makers.
  • Language & Communication: Fluent in Mandarin with professional proficiency in English to collaborate seamlessly with the APAC regional leadership.
