Job Title: Lead Associate / Investment Associate – Pan-European Buy & Build (M&A)

About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious, fast-growing European investment platform launching a high-growth Buy & Build (Roll-up) Strategy across Europe in the specialized critical infrastructure and environmental control maintenance sector (HVAC, cleanrooms, data centers, pharma logistics).
Starting ahead of its official 2027 launch with full funding guaranteed for 2+ years, this venture offers an ultra-entrepreneurial environment where you will work directly alongside an experienced Serial Entrepreneur.
This is not a traditional corporate desk job. We are looking for a hungry, high-EQ Dealmaker ready to get their hands dirty across the entire deal lifecycle—from initial market scanning and cold founder outreach to technical pre-diligence and deal closing.
What You Will Do
- Deal Sourcing & Prospecting: Proactively scan the market, identify mid-market target companies, and directly initiate contact with founders and business owners.
- Relationship Building: Leverage high emotional intelligence to build trust with traditional business owners (from informal coffee meetings to structured deal discussions).
- Execution & Modeling: Build financial models, draft Teasers, Pitch Books, and Information Memorandums (IMs), and perform preliminary financial due diligence.
- End-to-End Deal Flow: Assist in structuring transactions, negotiating terms, and driving deals from initial contact to Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) signing.
- Direct Mentorship: Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Partner, gaining accelerated exposure to deal-making, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance advisory, or Transaction Services.
- Languages: Native/Bilingual in Italian + Fluent English. Additional European languages (French, Spanish, Dutch) are a strong plus.
- Mindset: An entrepreneurial "risk-taker" with an owner mindset. You dislike strict rigid structures (no 9-to-5 mentally) and thrive on autonomy, flexibility, and tangible results.
- Skills: Strong financial literacy paired with exceptional interpersonal skills (High EQ). You are as comfortable analyzing an P&L as you are having lunch with a business owner.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within your target region to meet founders and visit target sites.
